Up for perusal is a character from the Sanctifiers 40k Killteam "Blood and Zeal" release. I collect the Imperial nutcases belonging to the Inquisition, Ministorum, and Sororitas factions, so this guy was a natural one to acquire. I painted up his cherub friend as well. Hope to get the rest of the options done soonish. I used some decals from Forgotten Chapters for the text and the little sigil on the cherub.

They look ace. I didn't expect the vibrant red to work so well on those wings!
ReplyDeleteThanks Suber! I wasn't sure how that would turn out- I was thinking of the weird painting by Jean Fouquet when I did that mini :)
DeleteHe looks really good: just like one of the ecclesiarchal oddballs behind the sister of battle in John Blanche's famous picture. The painting is really nice on both of them. They look suitably grimdark without being drab.
ReplyDeleteThanks Toby- definitely inspired by the guys in that illustration. One of my favorites!
DeleteVery nice work, they look awesome.
ReplyDeleteAppreciated!
DeleteGreat painting and the decal of the text is impressive !
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteThose two figures register as a "Double Wow!" on the scale of painting goodness. Your talent with the brush always amazes me....
ReplyDeleteAppreciated :) Spent a little more time on these guys.
