After a posting hiatus I have a new burst of additions on the way. First off is some new sections for Space Hulk. I took part in the Lead Adventure Forum 'Build Something' contest, and made it to the second round... which meant an extra week of not being able to post pics :)

Details and WIP images:
Miniatures are from the Lead Adventure Astropolis range, the poor guy (who is removable) who didn't make it is a Mantic Plague Zombie with some Wargames Factory skeleton parts.
Wow! That is really impressive Mathias! Top level! Can't think of anything more congratulatory to say.....it's just so damn good man :)
ReplyDeleteWell done!
Very clever use of various bits and excellent paining! Like it a lot. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks :)
DeleteO that's very nicely done! Although for Space Hulk primarily, it would fit in with just about any dark and dingy sci-fi setting.
ReplyDeleteI didn't want to overdo the 40K 'grimdark' look, it could be a pre-Imperial vessel, or another setting entirely. Thanks for commenting :)
DeleteThis is all kinds of awesome! Stunning work!
ReplyDeleteSuch awesome work. I would love to have something to play some Space Hulk over!
ReplyDeleteThanks :)
DeleteThese are absolutely fantastic. They remind me of the pods at the start of Fallout 4. What were the pods made from?
ReplyDeleteTerrific work.
Thanks! They are from a toy line called Mego-Blok "Plasma Tech".
DeleteHi, I just stumbled across your amazing work. I was wanting to recreate something similar and wondering where did you get your corridor tiles and wall pieces from? Are they handcrafted from bits and pieces or bought in a kit?
ReplyDeleteHello, thanks, sorry for the late reply!
DeleteMany of the components from this build are casts from Hirst Arts molds, here's the site:

Casting can be a chore for some people, I really enjoy it. I have some more details on my Space Hulk layout on this blog as well.
