Véronique Fidelia, Planetary Governor

The last miniature I painted in 2016, Véronique Fidelia, Planetary Governor of Plutalea, a peaceful world rejoined with the greater Imperium a mere few centuries ago.

She is based on a Reaper miniature, Xiufang, from the Chronoscope range. I replaced her original hand with a small reliquary to show her devotion and piety. The reliquary is from a Games Workshop kit (probably the Grey Knights set) combined with a new hand and a little bit of greenstuff. I also sculpted a symbol of the Imperium, the double headed eagle, to denote her rank.

Happy New Year to all!

  3. Great conversion for a figure I have been eyeing myself.

"Off the beaten path" seems like something pretty exciting to look forward to in 2017.
