40k Adventurers - Techs - Cyborgs

My June Adventurers entry is a group composed of the scientific and cyborg types.

Test-bed Slave, Talisman Scientist, Tech-Priest Zon, Converted Zon, Tech-Priest Schlan, Talisman Cyborg, and the Adventurers range Cyborg.

Schlan and servitors setting up a force field generator.

I had an extra Tech-Priest Zon, and I felt the urge to convert him and paint him up like Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, who has been getting a lot of media exposure. The encased bioform in the background is from Dragon's Rest, it's a 3D print with a tealight to produce the underglow.

Might as well show some other 'tech types' I painted a few weeks ago that I forgot to post.

"Dr. Diana" from Warzone/Mutant Chronicles.

Servitor from Wargames Exclusive and a 'Tech Wizard' from Brother Vinni.

More or less on target for the year :)

  1. The Talisman scientist and cyborg are a perfect match for the RT adventurer equivalents aren't they? That first pic is a seamless looking group - perfect for a whole host of narrative scenarios. I can well imagine them unleashing a devastating alien virus or xenos horror as a result of blinkered study without appropriate safeguards.

    1. Thanks! Its interesting that almost all the Talisman figures have a close counterpart in the Adventurers range.

  2. They look great and the various bits of tech are excellent too. I particularly like the Dragon's Rest piece. The tea light really works for it. I think you've captured the Rogue Trader feel.

  4. Fantastic pictures once more, your scientists definitely "do not look mad or evil in any way". "There's no way I can see them being hell bent on world domination with their totally sane cyborg creations 😁."
Love your post, there's a bit of a 40k meets James Bond vibe going on this time. Could be great for a 40k themed Perilous Tales game.

  5. Lovely work. I only miss some face masks, specially on not-Dr. Fauci! :D
