This
was my final entry for round 10 of the LPL, "Deer Woman".
The Deer Woman is a supernatural being found in the stories of several Native American groups. I'd have preferred a 'more clothed' version but
this is the only one on the 28mm market (that I know of anyway). The company that makes her is Paymaster Games. Their miniatures are high quality, and pretty obscure subjects no one else makes.
The Iroquis warriors are from Perry Miniatures.
Another LPL down the tubes, nabbed overall second place this year.
Wow, spectacular pictures...and minis!
ReplyDeleteThanks ;)
DeleteIf she's a native american myth I would've thought she would've worn even less clothing 😁. There's also something strange about folds in the skirt she's wearing.
ReplyDeleteI love what you did with your brushes on her though and your group picture is truly a work of art, a beautiful result.
What does LPL stand for by the way?
I agree on the folds, they're not quite right with the form... sort of 'flamenco' style volume I guess. LPL is "Lead Adventure League", an 10 week contest on the Lead Adventure Forum.
