A veritable cornucopia of miniature delights and exotic vistas to delight the eye
I haven't been able to complete the one-per month servo skull challenge I used to do for a while now, but I did manage to squeak one in this week.
The base model is "Poizer", designed by Cyber Forge and printed on my Mars2 Pro. I added a cable with greenstuff, and combined a GW skull and speaker from an Imperial Guard vox pack.

spent in contemplation. Citizens without a special permit stay indoors, where
they contemplate the life of The Emperor and Saint Christophorus. Workers in the Emperor's Manufactorums are given a special fifteen minute break during their shift for this purpose.
Many
citizens, however, hold an unusual belief. It is said that Christophorus left the planet
after it was claimed in the Emperor’s name, and ventured beyond the galactic
edge in search of the fabled Second Legion of Adeptus Astartes. He will bring
the Lost Legion back someday to vanquish all of the Holy Emperor’s foes. There are many books related to this topic and the tales are told behind closed doors.
Although not judged as heretical, this legend has caused some lively debates in the various branches of the Adeptus Ministorum and Adeptus Terra.”

“As Saint Christophorus’s Day approaches, the children of Ophatran
Secundus begin making their ersatz servo skulls. There is a commonly
held (and erroneous) belief that Saint Christophorus created the first
servo skull. The children’s versions are fashioned from paper strips and
a starch glue, painted, and attached to sticks so that the children may
simulate the hovering of the omnipresent skulls, which can be seen
flitting about any imperial planet”.
When I saw that a 3D designer (Across the Realms) was releasing some 'Grimdark Citizens' I thought I would acquire them for the Imperial Sector project. I printed off five using my Mars2Pro, and they came out quite nice- although one had some issues with fine detail on the chains and I suggested the designer rework them. When that gets updated I'll print it again, and add the remaining four to the set.
I acquired a 'Judge' miniature from Artel W Miniatures a few months ago. He was primed and ready to go at the end of 2021 but I didn't want to rush painting him as he's pretty detailed.
I based his color scheme, and the scroll he is holding, on the Earl of Squanderfield in "The Marriage Settlement" by William Hogarth. He's using his family tree to seal a marriage contract involving his rakish son, so that he can get the money to finish his grand mansion in the background.
Two ne'er-do-wells I kitbashed a couple months ago. Mal and Droyt take advantage of pious fools by selling them 'genuine' relics of Imperial Saints.
I continued working on my non-ruined Imperial city project in 2021. Here are some pictures of some random citizens and acolytes.
I can't recall the name of this mini right now, she was from Armorcast and I think OOP now. No major change other than a little Imperial Icon on her wand. She is a Schola Progenium Headmistress.

The shrine is a combination of a cheap plastic tea light I found at a thrift shop, a 3d printed platform I designed to fit, and a relic made from Milliput, jewelry parts, a clear tube, and a plastic skull.
I decided to make a miniature to go along with an idea I've been developing for a while, a sort of self portrait in the guise of an Imperial chronicler traveling on behest of a Necromundan noble. I've written a couple of short fluff pieces to go with some miniature builds, essentially excerpts from a fictitious book.
I started with a metal Reaper miniature as a base, and swapped in a head from Mad Robot. I shortened the legs a little by removing the boots and taking out the knees. This mini was quite large (I'm about 5'7"). I also added a reliquary.
I felt like he needed some companions so I made a couple of servo-skulls.
He will probably be showing up in the background a lot :)
